Where the Tarifa Spirit Festival takes place
The festival is spread across four spaces in the Old Town and by the beach — all within a 5–10 minute walk of each other:

The easiest option is to stay in the Old Town or near Los Lances Beach — you can walk everywhere. And in Tarifa, everything is pretty close anyway.
Prefer to wake up right on the sand? The beach hotels along the N-340 are beautiful — just plan for a car, taxi or lift into town on festival days.
Good to know: Monday, 12 October 2026 is a Spanish national holiday (Fiesta Nacional de España), creating a long weekend across Spain. With a few more people in town, it's worth booking your stay sooner rather than later.

Hostal Alameda
In the old town · walk to everythingA small, welcoming hostal on the Paseo de la Alameda, in a restored 19th-century building set into the old town walls. It has been hosting guests since 1989. The Sun stage on Plaza Cinco Oros is just a few minutes away, and every other venue is an easy walk.
Bright, simple rooms, all facing outwards with natural light. Some look over the harbour and the Strait; the superior doubles have a small balcony on the old wall. There's a plant-filled terrace with wide views, a quiet little library, and a row of cafés and restaurants right below. Los Lances Beach is about eight minutes on foot. Guests keep coming back to the same things: clean, comfortable rooms, kind and helpful staff, and a location that's hard to beat.

Hotel Hurricane
On the beach · ~8 km outside townA legendary beachfront hotel on the N-340, founded in the 1980s and still family-run. Moorish arches, whitewashed walls and subtropical gardens that lead straight onto miles of open sand. Breakfast on the terrace looks out over the Strait of Gibraltar to Morocco.
Two pools, a Finnish sauna, a hammam, yoga and pilates, horses in the on-site stables and a surf school right out front. Guests tend to call it a second home rather than a hotel — the pace here is set by the wind and the sun. It sits a few kilometres from town, so plan a car or taxi for festival days.
